Breakfast Server

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Breakfast Server to join our team at CSM Corporation. As a Breakfast Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

• Assist guests in a courteous and friendly manner, taking orders and preparing/delivering food and beverage orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Effectively promote the Bistro, adhering to all health regulations and CSM/Marriott standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Respond to guest needs and provide the highest level of quality service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
• Assist other associates as needed to meet guests needs, working as a team player to ensure the success of the Bistro experience.
• Operate micros operating system and cash register accurately and efficiently, following all CSM/Marriott cash handling/POS procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about menu items, specials, and prices, and familiar with preparation methods and ingredients to meet guests dietary/allergy questions.
• Actively up-sell food and beverage items to maximize revenue, monitoring and replenishing stock of prepared menu items as needed.
• Prepare all food in a timely manner, operating the Turbo Chef according to standards, and brew coffee and prepare coffee/other drinks according to specific recipes.
• Assist Bartender when necessary with serving alcoholic beverages, following local liquor laws and responsible for proper use of all equipment and adhering to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste.
• Consistently check guests identification and monitor guests consumption of alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with state and local liquor laws.
• Assist Bistro Attendant as needed, responsible for disposal of garbage, picking up trays, re-stocking dishes on the line, and clearing/wiping down tables and counter.
• Transfer full dish tubs to the dish room, and assist as needed with washing dishes, completing all required paperwork in an accurately and timely manner.
• Assist with inventory, complete inventory par sheets, and other responsibilities as needed, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and handling all food/beverage in compliance with CSM/Marriott, brand, local, state and federal regulations.
• Assist in maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of the Bistro, kitchen, and dish room, following all CSM/Marriott procedures for guest/associate incidents, and knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
• Produce required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties, adhering to CSM/Marriott grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules and department procedures.
• Attend all required department and hotel meetings, adhering to CSM attendance policy, and complete all required side work, taking initiative to assist wherever necessary.
• Work as a team player and actively contribute to the success of the Bistro experience, providing food and beverage service to clients in a business or social function in a friendly manner.

• One year prior serving/customer service and bartending experience required.
• Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to speak, understand, and write English in order to meet guests needs and complete required paperwork.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• TIPS or CARE beverage service training and certification, or the ability to obtain local certifications as required by law.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout shift, and requires ability to complete physically demanding responsibilities such as walking, standing, carrying, and lifting continuously throughout the shift.
