Job Title: Signal Processing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Signal Processing Engineer to join our team at Integer Technologies. As a Signal Processing Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and applying digital twins for maritime applications, including satellite, radio, and acoustic communication systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing virtual modeling subject matter expertise, writing software, and manipulating data streams from sensors to be integrated into overall models. You will also apply and learn multiple algorithm and software development languages, libraries, and frameworks as necessary to collaborate with our software development and modeling & simulation teams.

As a Signal Processing Engineer, you will work closely with other Company scientists and engineers on multi-disciplinary teams to prototype and test new technologies in our unmanned systems portfolio. You will also contribute to monthly reports and quarterly performance reviews for our customers, as well as support business development and hardware engineering teams to develop new funded research and engineering projects.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in signal processing, communication systems, and modeling & simulation. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline. A graduate degree is highly desirable.

Key qualifications include demonstrated proficiency in at least one computer modeling & simulation environment, advanced understanding of underwater acoustics and signal processing theory and techniques, experience in DSP architecture design and sonar acoustics, knowledge of active and passive sonar systems, and understanding of line arrays and beamforming.
