The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Ochsner Children's Hospital is seeking a board eligible/board certified pediatric gastroenterologist to join our expanding pediatric multi-specialty practice at the Shaquille O'Neal Pediatric Super Clinic in Baton Rouge, LA.
This is a primarily clinic-based position with citywide call shared among a collegial group of experienced pediatric gastroenterologists. You will have the opportunity to work closely with 7 New Orleans-based partners, including specialists in intestinal rehabilitation, pancreatology, advanced endoscopy, IBD, neurogastroenterology & motility and hepatology & liver transplant.
We offer a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite with impedance, pH, and manometry capability co-located with the clinic at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove. Additionally, you will have access to integrated multidisciplinary programs in Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing, Aerodigestive care, Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction, and Colorectal disorders.
Ours is an integrated practice model with a strong, internal referral network. We utilize the EPIC medical record platform throughout Ochsner Health. The position offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, with full benefits, paid relocation, and a signing bonus.
The Baton Rouge region offers a family-oriented community with the additional amenities of New Orleans just over 1 hour away. Louisiana is known for its many festivals, parks, and community events throughout the year.
