Job Overview

Circle City ABA of Georgia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities

As a Behavior Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans written by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collecting accurate data for all treatment plans and behavior programs, which will be provided to the BCBA for analysis
  • Serving in a direct care role, consulting the BCBA regularly for additional support, training, and supervision
  • Adjusting interventions and/or intervention methods as instructed by the supervising BCBA when necessary
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge and understanding of each intervention and plan in place for each client on your caseload and those on the assigned team
  • Maintaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials by completing the RBT Competency Assessment annually as per Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines
  • Receiving and accurately tracking RBT supervision hours to maintain internal and external compliance
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a minimum High School Diploma or national equivalent
  • Be willing to obtain a valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate with the BACB
  • Be willing to undergo a pre-employment background screening process
