Job Overview:

This position is responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests, verifying the accuracy of test results, and reporting laboratory findings to physicians, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.

This role may work in various areas of the laboratory, including Transfusion Service, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry, and Fibrinolysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, utilizing the laboratory computer system to perform duties.
  • Maintain strict adherence to established policies and procedures, working independently under the supervision of a general supervisor.
  • Process specimens, perform tests, and report results with accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
  • American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) certification.
  • MT Clinical Training.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and use of hands. It also involves occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities is essential.
