Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS) to join our team. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for preparing and operating equipment during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient care and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
  • Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in staff orientation.
  • Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge personnel or manager.
  • Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
  • Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
  • Achieve all listed competencies in department policy within 6 months.
  • Possess a completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration.
  • Previous Procedural Area experience is preferred.
  • Hold certifications such as American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Key Skills:

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in hospital settings, ACLS certification, and BLS training are highly desirable.
