Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Kona Grill - Minnetonka. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all dishes are sanitized and available as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and closing the dish machine, maintaining its daily cleanliness, and washing plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans, and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure dishes are sanitized and available as needed
  • Set up and close the dish machine according to company procedures
  • Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of the dish machine
  • Wash plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans, and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities
