Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

CrossMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel nursing opportunity in Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
