Sonography Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Morton Grove, Illinois. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing various ultrasound procedures using advanced sonographic equipment.
Job DescriptionThe primary objective of this role is to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures to aid in clinical diagnosis. This involves utilizing sophisticated sonographic equipment to capture images, document patient history, and maintain a secure work environment.
You will be working closely with radiologists to analyze and interpret images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our Ultrasound Department.
Responsibilities- Perform a comprehensive range of invasive and non-invasive ultrasound procedures demonstrating proficiency in anatomy and pathology.
- Record and document patient history, medical records, and other relevant information.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Provide technical support for efficient department operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ultrasound technology.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree from an accredited School of Ultrasound.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Excellent skills in performing abdomen, OB/GYN, Endorectal, and Small Parts ultrasounds.
- CPR certification.
