Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in providing top-notch service to our clients.
Responsibilities- Triage and interpret medication orders, ensuring accuracy and productivity standards are met.
- Perform drug calculations, including basic mathematical conversions.
- Resolve issues related to denials and follow-up claims in Point of Sale (POS).
- Maintain current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes.
- Produce reports and keep management informed of unpaid claims and claims pending follow-up.
- Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers.
- Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy-related experience.
- Basic understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and metric system.
- Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations and business needs.
