Senior Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team at Smith Arnold Partners. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in the organization and have plenty of opportunities for growth personally and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead audits with key clients in the not-for-profit, manufacturing, service, hospitality, and benefits arena.
• Work closely with Directors and Partners in the firm
• Responsible for planning, execution and completion of audit field work and supervision of Audit Staff
• Review of engagement working papers prepared by Audit Staff
• Prepare financial statements and complex audit areas
• Proactively suggest improvements to internal controls
• Proactively suggest improvements for audit effectiveness and efficiency
• Research technical GAAP issues as needed and present conclusions
• Meet deadlines while providing superior client service
• Attend professional development and continuing education
• Participate in firm practice development initiatives
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements:

• BS Accounting
• 4+ years of public accounting/audit experience
• CPA preferred. In progress is a plus as well.
• Strong work ethic with a team player attitude
