Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Oversee the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • LPN nursing diploma or degree from an accredited school of nursing or university.
  • Current license to practice as an LPN in the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum of one year working with the frail and elderly.
  • CPR certification.
