We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including schematic designs, specifications, and construction drawings;
  • Edit and develop electrical specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and industry standards;
  • Review and comment on submittals and shop drawings, providing feedback to ensure quality and accuracy;
  • Perform lighting and electrical calculations, using software such as AutoCAD and Revit;
  • Meet project budgets and deadlines, working closely with project managers and teams to ensure timely completion;
  • Supervise and mentor CADD and BIM technicians, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles;
  • Attend consultant coordination meetings with clients, representing the company and communicating effectively;
  • Coordinate project requirements with telephone and power companies, ensuring seamless integration and delivery;
  • Provide accurate and timely work, meeting expectations and delivering high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering or related field, with illumination emphasis preferred but not required;
  • Five years of experience in the A/E/C industry, with a strong focus on electrical design and development;
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD and Revit;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Knowledge of building code requirements, including the National Electrical Code, and industry standards;
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed, with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
