Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care to critically ill patients, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex medical issues.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in critical care nursing.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying and reporting potential risks and near misses, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure.
- Certification in specialty preferred, with a strong emphasis on life-saving education specific to the specialty area.
- Membership in a professional organization encouraged.
- Competitive hourly rate, with a range of $46.50 per hour, and shift differential available for hours worked between 7p and 7a, weekends, and weekend nights.
