Senior Accountant Opportunity

Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to contribute to our team in Plainville, CT. As an employee-owned firm, we value our employees and strive to provide a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Controller to ensure accurate and timely month-end procedures.
  • Input journal entries and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparing consolidated balance sheets and income statements.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of monthly sales and use tax.
  • Support AP and AR processing as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the leadership of the Finance Group.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-4 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High energy and a can-do attitude.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
