Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to contribute to our team in Plainville, CT. As an employee-owned firm, we value our employees and strive to provide a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Controller to ensure accurate and timely month-end procedures.
- Input journal entries and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with preparing consolidated balance sheets and income statements.
- Analyze financial statements to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of monthly sales and use tax.
- Support AP and AR processing as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the leadership of the Finance Group.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-4 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High energy and a can-do attitude.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
