About the Job

This role involves scheduling and dispatching drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods and efficient use of resources. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in transportation management, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

The selected individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating with customers, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and dispatch drivers based on customer requests, traffic conditions, and other factors
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery orders, customer communications, and vehicle maintenance
  • Coordinate with drivers to plan efficient routes and resolve issues promptly
  • Prepare and send freight bills, invoices, and other necessary documents
  • Monitor and report on transportation regulations, laws, and safety standards
Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as a truck dispatcher or transportation coordinator
  • Strong knowledge of transportation management software and office applications
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation and Benefits
  • The estimated annual salary for this position is around $62,000 - $80,000, depending on experience
