Job Summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Engineer to join our team in Carmel, IN. As a key member of our PCI Indianapolis operations, you will play a critical role in supporting our project management and estimating teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Create and manage punch lists to ensure timely project completion
  • Support the implementation of Quality Control Measures outlined in the QA/QC program
  • Prepare RFI's and submittals to facilitate effective communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
  • Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering and procurement
  • Support the development and implementation of job schedules to ensure timely project completion
  • Coordinate warranties and O&M's to ensure client satisfaction
  • Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Construction Science, or comparable work experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
  • Ability to learn new job skills and apply them in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Requirements
  • OSHA Certification
  • Experience with drywall, insulation, or cleanroom scopes
  • Willingness to travel and relocate based on project needs
