Quality Control Inspector Required

About the Role:

A Quality Control Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that products adhere to established standards. This position involves evaluating incoming shipments, assessing raw materials, and conducting measurements on random samples from production batches. Additionally, the inspector will be responsible for training team members to enhance product quality.

Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the QA Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections on incoming, in-process, and final products using various gauges and measurement tools.
• Document inspection findings by completing detailed reports.
• Develop and maintain inspection forms.
• Keep the calibration database current.
• Execute tests as necessary to verify compliance with product specifications.
• Communicate with engineering teams regarding any discrepancies identified during inspections.
• Update the quality objectives matrix regularly.
• Maintain the training matrix for team members.
• Suggest enhancements to the production process for improved quality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).

Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in quality control is preferred.

Additional Training:

• In-house training will be provided to ensure competency in the role.

Skills Required:

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
