Program Supervisor Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Supervisor to join our team at REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family. Our mission is to provide community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to live well and have a fulfilling career.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and participating in administrative duties, including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs.
About the Role
- Facilitate ISP implementation and participate in various administrative tasks, such as staff hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision.
- Supervise a team of caregivers providing support to individuals we serve in the program.
- Provide assistance with daily activities like meal preparation, planning, medication administration, and personal care.
- Split duties between direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision.
- Encourage community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or other activities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One year related work experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance mandatory.
- Other licensure or certification may be required by regulatory authority.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with team members and those we serve.
- Strong organizational abilities to maintain staffing and schedules.
