Barista (Full Time)

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Bon Appetit. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and food items to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve espresso drinks and related food items to customers.
- Handle food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations.
- Interact with customers and other employees in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures.
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
- Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
- Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently, and prevent delays in serving lines.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers.
- Serve as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process.
- Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards.
