This job description aligns with the ANA 2015 Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice and the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
Minimum Requirements:Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required within five years of hire.
Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant experience is necessary.
Licensure: Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification is required.
Physical Demands:This position requires prolonged standing, frequent travel, and bending/stooping. Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills are essential. Attention to detail and the ability to write legibly are also required. The role may involve lifting, pushing, or pulling weight, and exposure to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases.
