Role Responsibilities:
The staff nurse delivers nursing care to patients across the lifespan, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within the framework of organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Experience: New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
- Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Georgia; BLS certification required.
- Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced certification in specialty area, if applicable.
