- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficient in the use of essential tools such as tape measures, combination squares, table saws, portable power miter saws, sliding table saws, radial arm saws, saber saws, portable routers, pocket screw machines, and pneumatic nailers.
- Understanding of techniques like tapering, scarf joints, and jointer operations.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and cut lists effectively, anticipating potential challenges with shop drawings.
- Experience working with materials including particle board, MDF, melamine, plywood, veneer, laminate, fabric, acrylics, and lightweight alternatives.
- Capability to generate accurate cut lists.
- Goal-oriented with a strong ability to collaborate with others, as well as the motivation to work independently.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Commitment to producing high-quality products efficiently.
