Key Responsibilities
Deliver educational instruction in alignment with the defined instructional agreement, curriculum, course outlines, and scheduled classes.
Engage in scheduled orientations and meetings, and fulfill mandatory training requirements by the institution's deadlines.
Maintain accurate academic records within the learning management system and ensure timely submission of all necessary course documentation.
Clearly communicate teaching objectives and specific learning outcomes to students, along with transparent grading policies.
Uphold professional standards and ethical conduct in all interactions.
Familiarize yourself with and adhere to the institution's instructor manual and curricular guidelines.
Respond promptly to student inquiries and learning needs.
Stay updated on current trends and knowledge within the business field.
Complete administrative tasks efficiently, including hiring paperwork, syllabus updates, instructor contracts, textbook orders, and communication of classroom needs.
Utilize culturally responsive teaching methods that cater to diverse student populations.
Design engaging and interactive classroom activities to enhance student participation and reinforce learning.
Regularly update course materials and monitor evaluations to improve curriculum effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Significant experience in the business sector (minimum 3-5 years).
Interest in teaching a diverse, international student body.
Local availability for on-ground, daytime classes during the week.
Must demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States.
Additional Qualifications
Current expertise and proficiency in the subject area.
Commitment to maintaining high academic standards and integrity.
Active participation in professional associations.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to facilitate effective interaction with students and colleagues.
Proficient computer skills for preparing class materials and maintaining communication.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching at the university level or equivalent corporate experience.
Familiarity with online learning management systems.
Experience living or traveling abroad.
