Sorter/Donation Processor

Job Summary:

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sorter/Donation Processor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing donations for retail sale or salvage according to Salvation Army policy and production procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort and process donations of clothing, furniture, electrical, and miscellaneous household items
Maintain a clean and organized receiving and processing area
Determine which items are saleable, repairable, or salvageable
Load donations for truck delivery
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods and walk, climb, and balance
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
