Part-time Pharmacist Job Description

Clinical Solutions Pharmacy is seeking a part-time pharmacist to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. As a part-time pharmacist, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services, in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the Pharmacist in Charge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services.
  • Support an environment that promotes optimal efficiencies, staff retention, and superior quality of business office employees.
  • Review orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
  • Verify all prepared DURs are accurate and communicate recommendations to clients in a timely manner.
  • Complete quality assurance checks on all orders filled by fulfillment staff prior to dispensing and releasing the orders to shipping.
  • Communicate well and maintain positive client relationships and answers any pharmacist related calls and/or questions.
Requirements:
  • License to practice pharmacy in the state of Kansas is required.
  • Ability to think critically and perform tasks efficiently with accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity.
  • Possess the ability and initiative to plan for and complete daily activities with minimal direction.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening process.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Language Skills:

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, stir, walk, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

The employee is required to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift/move objects.

Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
