Electrical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled assembler to perform a variety of tasks in conjunction with the assembly of our product. The successful candidate will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product, while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

• Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts and sub-assemblies on any line within the plant, adhering to predetermined standard work.
• Detect quality defects and unsafe conditions, and perform general housekeeping in work areas.
• Be knowledgeable and follow all applicable safety rules and procedures.
• Read print drawings to determine dimensions, design, and materials for construction and understand method sheets.
• Operate power pneumatic tools, hand tools, measuring devices, and other equipment required for performing job duties.
• Maintain and inspect tools and equipment, and create work orders for tools/equipment to be repaired as needed.
• Loading and unloading onto conveyors and carts, operating fork trucks, and hoists.
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
• Perform tasks such as brazing, soldering, operating machines and presses, hanging and unhanging parts, and performing quality checks and tests.

• High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One (1) year in manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiar with and ability to utilize all hand tools, including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to use equipment and maintain general understanding of business process.
• Knowledgeable of and able to utilize computer systems.
