Job Summary:
Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at an affiliated practice in Silver Spring, MD. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures and ensuring exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient safety.
- Complete patient information requirements and paperwork to facilitate efficient exam processing.
- Collaborate with radiologists to discuss mammographic exams and ensure accurate interpretations.
- Support the operations manager with MQSA and ACR requirements to maintain compliance and quality standards.
- Assist with administrative tasks to complete exams for interpretation and ensure seamless patient care.
Additional Job Functions:
- Perform other job requests as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator.
Requirements:
- ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required
- ARRT Certification in the Registration of Mammography (M) Required
- Minimum Two Years' Experience in a Mammography Position Preferred
- State Department of Radiation Control License as Required by Location of Practice
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
