Software Engineer - Test Equipment

Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and validate software on test equipment for lab and flight preparation activities. The ideal candidate will have experience coding in Java, C++, or Python and a strong understanding of software engineering principles, practices, and theories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software on test equipment for lab and flight preparation activities
  • Provide software support and updates on test hardware as requirements and needs change
  • Lead the full life cycle of software development used for system testing
  • Define software requirements and convert into verification requirements
  • Validate and test software through acceptance testing against requirements
Requirements:
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years
  • U.S. Citizen and Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
  • Experience coding in Java, C++, or Python
  • Understanding of software engineering principles, practices, and theories
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in computer science, software engineering, or another STEM degree
  • Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
  • Agile Systems Engineering Experience
