We invite highly qualified candidates to join our team as a visiting assistant or associate professor of aerospace engineering for the 2024-25 academic year. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate courses and contribute to the growth and development of our department.

The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle is committed to providing a world-class education that prepares students for careers in the rapidly evolving fields of aviation and aerospace. With an enrollment of over 2300 students, our department offers Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees, including 68 students in our PhD program.

To qualify for this position, candidates should have a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field. A Ph.D. degree and industry experience are desirable. Women and underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply. The selected candidate must submit a single document with their cover letter and Curriculum Vitae.

Our university is known for its cutting-edge facilities, including the John Mica Engineering and Aerospace Innovation Complex (MicaPlex), which houses state-of-the-art research laboratories, a subsonic wind tunnel, and a Flight Research Center facility. ERAU's eastern campus is located in Daytona Beach, Florida, serving a diverse student body of approximately 8,300 undergraduate and 780 graduate students.
