Job Title: Zone Manager

This is a dynamic and results-driven role that will play a pivotal part in expanding our business footprint, driving sales growth, and fostering long-term client relationships in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive sales growth and profitability across the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Conduct sales forecasting and market analysis to identify sales opportunities and potential risks.
  • Manage sales operations to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with food service providers and broad-line distributors to expand our market presence.
  • Leverage broker sales strategies to reach out to potential clients and generate new business leads.
  • Develop and manage territory plans to maximize sales coverage and customer reach.
  • Manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company goals.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales management role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of successful sales strategy development and execution.
  • Experience in sales forecasting, sales operations, and territory development.
  • Strong experience in food service sales, broad-line distributor relationships, and broker sales.
  • Demonstrated ability in account management, business development, and customer relationship management.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
  • Self-starter with a strong drive for results and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
