Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery team at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients undergoing surgical or diagnostic procedures in the Day Surgery Unit.
  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and scientific judgment to deliver safe and effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit and organizational activities to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in an acute care Medical/Surgical setting, with Day Surgery/Pre-Op experience a plus.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications, with PALS preferred.
