Mammography Technologist Job Description

At Center For Diagnostic Imaging, we are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mammography scanners to produce images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions.
  • Explain and prepare patients for mammography imaging procedures.
  • Perform routine and advanced mammography imaging procedures.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed.
  • Maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform mammography procedures independently.
