Job Description

As a Power Conversion Engineer at Trane Technologies, you will play a critical role in developing state-of-the-art electronics, including power conversion hardware, software, and chassis integration solutions. You will collaborate directly with customers, field teams, and product development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable temperature control solutions. Your expertise in power electronics will enable you to lead the design of components and systems with a focus on reliability, durability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop power electronic modules, including DCDC converters, AC-DC-AC power conversion units, and other power electronics devices.
  • Collaborate with customers, field teams, and product development teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct trade-off analyses of requirements, costs, and schedules to optimize project outcomes.

Requirements:
  • B.S. or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, and at least 4 years of experience.
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics, Controls or Machines is preferred. Relevant experience also considered.

Compensation:
$90,000 - $115,000 per annum
