Transformative Cloud-Based Solutions Developer

At Capital One, we're seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team of innovators and pioneers in the technology space. As a key member of our Agile team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for millions of Americans.
  • Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver high-quality, cloud-based solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in internal and external technology communities.
  • Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services, and AWS tools and services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (internship experience does not apply).
  • Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience in Java, Python, or Go, 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service, 3+ years of experience in open-source frameworks, and 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
