Our robust set of print, mail, and communications solutions enables companies to connect with their audiences, stakeholders, members, and other constituents across channels and devices, anytime and anywhere.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cutter Operator for our 2nd Shift (3 pm - 11 pm) production team. As a Cutter Operator, you will be responsible for operating the flat cutter machine, laying out jobs, and performing preventative maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Laying Out Jobs: Carefully plan and prepare jobs to be cut on the trimmer machine, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
- Operating the Flat Cutter Machine: Input information into the trimmer computer, remove paper stacks from skids, and place them in the trimmer to cut jobs.
- Performing Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the flat cutter machine to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Assisting with Training: Provide guidance and support to new team members as needed, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Maintaining a Clean Working Environment: Ensure the machine area is clean and organized, adhering to company standards and promoting a safe working environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Cognitive Abilities: Capable of reading and taking measurements in standard and metric units.
- Soft Skills: Positive attitude, focus on quality, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good organizational and time management skills.
