Job Title: Traffic Flagger

Archer Western Construction, a member of The Walsh Group, is seeking a skilled Traffic Flagger for the Pasadena 36" Force Main Phase III GMP project in St. Petersburg, FL.

Job Summary:

The Traffic Flagger will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the public and employees on construction sites by controlling traffic flow and maintaining a secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the proper erection, placement, and removal of traffic control materials
  • Control the flow of traffic around the construction site
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
  • 1 year of verifiable experience preferred
  • Flagger certification preferred
  • Clean, valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening
