- Continuously monitor patients' physical condition, emotional, and social needs
- Provide health education and support to patients and families
- Evaluate patient progress and document effectiveness of interventions
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENCP) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
