Job Overview:

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. This includes administering nursing care, working with patients and their families to address health care needs, and following state guidelines for nursing practice. The Licensed Practical Nurse also performs other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to registered nurses
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited Practical Nursing program
  • Current LPN license in New Jersey
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
  • Completion of all Orientation Programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a related healthcare field or Public Health

Certifications and Licenses:

  • BLS certification through American Heart Association
  • Current LPN license in New Jersey

Work Schedule:

  • Days 9:30am - 5:30pm
  • Full-Time (37.5 hrs)
