Job Title: Medical Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technician to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient care and support.
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitoring, including vital signs and other necessary medical procedures.
  • Perform IV starts and blood draws, as permitted by state law, and apply splints and provide wound care as needed.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point-of-care laboratory equipment, including EKGs.
  • Assist Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in the daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the vehicle is stocked and ready for each shift.
Requirements:
  • Medical Technician certification with a valid EMT license (WA or NREMT) or Medical Assistant certification (MA-C or MA-P).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
