Job Summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Brown County Jail in Green Bay, WI. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide quality care to patients while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
  • Monitor patients as directed by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director or other practitioner.
  • Implement nursing care within the LPN's scope of practice, including compliance with all laws as applicable in the practice setting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of teaching plans based on the individual needs of the patient.
  • Administer medications to offenders and provide wound care.
  • Document actions in the MAR and medical records.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Possesses an active CPR certification.
  • Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
Work Schedule

Full-Time Days: 5am-5:30pm

Full-Time Nights: 5:00pm-5:30am ($4.00 Shift Differential)
