Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Director to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing managerial and clinical support to patients and staff, ensuring the provision of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and facilitate patient-centered nursing care for designated patient populations
- Lead change by developing, implementing, and evaluating quality and process improvement initiatives
- Facilitate communication of system, regional, facility, and department initiatives
- Manage and develop operational and capital budgets and use of associated resources
- Assure the development of staff leadership through the design of effective shared leadership models and supports career advancement opportunities
- Responsible for selection, orientation, onboarding, and retention of staff
- Manage large single unit or multiple clinical units to ensure excellent patient care
Requirements:
- BSN or MSN required for all new hires
- Current RN license in state of practice
- BLS certification
- Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical care management
- Critical thinking, communication, influence, decision-making, analytical, and flexibility skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing
- Additional related education and/or experience
