Position Overview:
As a Travel Nurse RN at South Pointe Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality nursing services while adapting to various clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
- A minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required.

Shift Details:
- Night shifts: 3x12 hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Travelers are expected to work at least every other holiday.

Additional Requirements:
- Government-issued photo ID is required during assignments.
- Candidates whose certifications expire within 30 days of starting must renew them prior to commencement.

Assessment and Training:
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be conducted during orientation, with acceptable scores required for continued employment.
- The PBDS Assessment is waived for this position.
