Job Summary:The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek applicants for a full-time clinician or clinician-scientist faculty position in Medical Retina to join the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care, research, and education in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.
- Participate in coverage at Columbus, VA, and other clinical sites as assigned.
- Contribute to the academic mission of the Department, including research, quality improvement initiatives, curriculum development, and education initiatives.
- Engage in service commitments, including clinical service at OSUWMC facilities and other clinical sites as assigned.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Ophthalmology by the time of appointment.
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
- MD or DO degree and completion of an approved residency program in Ophthalmology.
- Subspecialty training in a Retina fellowship required.
