Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at a leading manufacturer of aluminum and bronze castings. As a Plant Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our foundry environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring circuits, motors, generators, lights, electronic equipment, transformers, switches, and control panels.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions on industrial machinery, including furnaces, conveyors, cranes, and other production equipment.
  • Ensure safe operation and optimal production efficiency by adhering to electrical safety codes and plant standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience.
  • Electrical journeyperson's card, or apprentice with majority of hours completed towards journeyperson.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repair PLC, HDMI, CNC controllers, AC/DC motors, servos, robotics, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of both national and local electrical safety codes.
  • Ability and willingness to work potential overtime (including weekends).
