Job Summary:

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures using computerized tomographic scanners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Imaging Procedures: Perform and document all CT scans, ensuring high-quality images are produced according to established practices and procedures.
  • Patient Care: Explain procedures to patients, address their concerns, and ensure their comfort, safety, and proper positioning during imaging procedures.
  • Contrast Administration: Administer intravenous contrast under physician supervision and manage any complications that may arise.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiently operate EHR systems and independent workstations, conduct basic to advanced CT exams, including reconstructions and Cardiovascular CT imaging.
  • Training and Development: Train students and new staff as a preceptor, and mentor CT Technicians (Tech I and Tech II).
  • Leadership and Support: Provide leadership in the absence of the Lead Tech and assist with survey readiness, policy training, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Call and On-Call Responsibilities: Take call as needed, based on hospital requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography (ARRT) or Certified in Computed Tomography (NMTCB) upon hire, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Training and Experience: Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in computer tomography procedures.
