About the Job

This 13-week contract position requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in operating room procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients prior to surgery and alleviate their concerns
  • Monitor patient's vital signs to detect anomalies
  • Assume duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned
  • Evaluate patient in postoperative phases
  • Pass medical instruments or other objects to the surgeon during operation
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an operating room nurse (circulating and scrub)
  • Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
  • In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
