We are seeking a highly skilled Dermatologist to join our team at St. Mary's Health Care. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various skin conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management to ensure seamless patient care.
- Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as a consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization.
- Provide accurate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialty care, including on-call schedules.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician (MD/DO) licensed by New York State prior to hire date.
- Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree is required.
