Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Modular Power Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and administering all aspects of our corporate environmental, health, and safety (EHS) program and site-specific safety program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and observations to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with employees, supervisors, and management to educate and coach on safe work practices and promote a culture of safety.
  • Document findings, compile information, and create detailed reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with clients, project management, and divisional leadership to ensure successful implementation of EHS programs and plans.
  • Represent safety in meetings and provide input on safety-related matters.
  • Perform and document environmental sampling and monitoring activities, including air quality, noise, and hazardous materials.
  • Investigate incidents, conduct interviews, and compile information to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
  • 0-6 months of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
