POSITION OVERVIEW: We are in search of a skilled and dedicated Housekeeping Specialist to oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of our distinguished hunting ranch. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining both indoor and outdoor areas, ensuring a pristine environment for all guests. This role demands flexibility, meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach, and exceptional organizational abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and sanitizing all areas.
- Manage the laundering and changing of linens in guest quarters and communal spaces.
- Maintain and polish furniture, light fixtures, and ceiling fans.
- Ensure windows, glass partitions, and mirrors are spotless.
- Clean and organize outdoor furniture and equipment.
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory of toiletries.
- Collect and dispose of waste in living and public areas.
- Rearrange furniture and turn mattresses as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas, including countertops, refrigerators, and ovens.
- Replace light bulbs in various locations using a ladder.
- Report any damages or maintenance issues to the appropriate management.
- Prepare and organize cabins while guests are away.
- Handle dining linens, including washing, ironing, and folding.
- Deliver requested items to guest accommodations.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining and kitchen areas.
- Occasionally travel off-site for errands or additional housekeeping duties.
- Adhere to a detailed cleaning schedule and checklist for all facilities.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.
- Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in hospitality is preferred.
- Professional demeanor, neat appearance, and a friendly disposition.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively.
- Willingness to learn and understand company policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify and report issues within the property.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
This role requires good manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs. Candidates must be comfortable using a step stool and a ladder for various tasks. The position involves working in both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled environments.
